Rick Werber, FMA
Rick is a graduate of Cornell University with over 25 years of facilities management experience in the lodging, health care, education, and senior housing sectors. Rick held a variety of operations and corporate positions with Marriott International and Sodexho prior to joining Sunrise Senior Living as VP, Facilities Management in 2003. Rick began his senior housing career as National Director, Facilities Management with Marriott Senior Living in 1999.
Rick currently oversees the operations, maintenance, energy management and infrastructural-based capital programs of 439 senior living communities throughout the US, Canada, UK, and Germany. He is the founding co-chair of the Sunrise Energy Council.
Rick is on the Board of Trustees of the BOMI Institute and former member of the AHCA Life Safety Subcommittee. Rick is a current member of NFPA, ASHE, and CASHE.
Rick and his family reside in Potomac, MD.
